Common Questions
- Do I need any boxing experience to start?
No. Sessions are scaled to whoever is in the room, so a complete beginner and a regular can train in the same class and both get a proper workout. Just tell us your level when you get in touch.
- Do I need my own gloves or kit?
Not for your first session — we will sort you out and explain what to bring next time. Wear something you can move and sweat in.
- What about the kids while I train?
Bring them along — children are welcome to play for free in the Monkey Playland soft play centre while you train, so you can get your session in without sorting childcare. We can also arrange coached junior boxing on request; just ask when you get in touch.
- How much does it cost?
Keep-fit classes are £10 per session, pay as you go — there is no membership to commit to. Kids play in the soft play for free while you train.
- When do classes run?
Our weekly keep-fit classes are:
- Ladies, mornings: Monday & Friday, 10–11am
- Ladies, evenings: Monday & Wednesday, 6–7pm
- Men: Tuesday & Thursday, 7–8pm
- Women's boxing: Thursday & Sunday, 4–5pm
The ladies' classes are ladies only, and the women's boxing sessions are women only. Private 1-to-1 and small-group boxing sessions are available for both men and ladies — email us to arrange one.
